Hawkins Partners, Inc. provided planning and construction documents for the continuation of Korean Veterans Boulevard from 4th Avenue to 8th Avenue along the south boundary of Nashville’s new convention center, Music City Center. The streetscape continues the “Complete Streets” concept with the inclusion of a bike lane and generous sidewalks, as well as, the implementation of several Green Street sustainable features. The roadway encompasses a new urban roundabout at 8th Avenue, which is a focal point/terminus for the entire boulevard.

The streetscape  includes on street bike lanes and parking, bio-retention planters, LED pedestrian bollards, porous concrete, solar powered parking meters, site furniture, bike racks, way finding signage, native and drought tolerant plant material, and a water efficient irrigation system.
