Prima at Paseo South Gulch
Anchored by two historic urban structures, the Paseo District breathes new life into a rapidly evolving Nashville neighborhood. Prima at Paseo South Gulch, the first of four planned towers, features a 12,500-square-foot amenity terrace on the 4th floor, a 2,400-square-foot rooftop on the 16th floor, and a pedestrian thoroughfare at ground level that gives the district its name, “Paseo.”
This project weaves a contemporary urban fabric while honoring the industrial legacy of its surroundings. The rooftop amenity design draws inspiration from the historic Voorhees Building—a former John Deere showroom and distribution center. The angular forms found on the rooftop amenity spaces, from paving patterns to vertical elements, evoke the precision and strength of a John Deere combine in action, reflecting the area's agricultural and industrial roots. The result is a cohesive and dynamic public realm that merges history with the modern energy of the Paseo District.
